What are the admission requirements for Cosmos?
All accepted students must show proof of vaccination, and a negative COVID test 72 hours or less prior to arrival to campus. COSMOS is an intensive four-week summer residential program for students who have demonstrated an aptitude for academic and professional careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

Does Cosmos count as academic credit?
While academic credit is not awarded at the conclusion of the program COSMOS is considered an Academic Preparation Program for which students who participate can indicate so on their University of California admissions application. Some UC campuses give special consideration to those who have participated in COSMOS.
Will Cosmos 2022 be held in-person?
COSMOS is planning to be held in-person in the Summer of 2022 - subject to emerging campus guidance. All COSMOS students will be required to show proof of vaccination as well as a negative COVID test taken 72 hours prior to arrival.
When is the 2021 tuition due?
Remaining tuition due by May 7, 2021, at 11:59 PM (PDT) Credit card payments available. Please note that a 2.5% service fee will be added to ALL online payments. Can you attend Cosmos in 2021?
Students who are not residents of California may apply, but COSMOS can admit at most 20 out-of-state students each summer. FOR SUMMER 2021 ONLY __ Due to special circumstances, o nly students that physically reside in the United States during the 2021 activities are eligible to attend COSMOS 2021.

- In case the student is admitted from a wait-list later than April TBA, a one-weekperiod will be given to take action on acceptance and payment of the non-refundable deposit.
