What is Focus?

Focus is our Student Information System that includes attendance, assessment, communication, discipline, gradebook, and progress monitoring information. Administrators, teachers, and students have Focus accounts that are automatically generated by Clay County District Schools. Parents must register for an account.

Do you need more information?

If you need more information about the Focus Parent Portal or how to access information about your child, please contact your child's school directly. You can find contact information for your child's school on the OneClay website. Click Select a School and choose the school. That will take you directly to the school's website.

MY ACCESS ID AND PASSWORD ARE NOT WORKING. WHAT CAN I DO?

If you copied and pasted the Access ID and Password from the document you received, please try typing them in manually.

HOW DO I SWITCH BETWEEN STUDENTS?

Click on the first name in the dark blue bar at the top of the screen to switch to information unique to that student.

HOW DO I ADD ANOTHER STUDENT?

From Account Preferences, select the Student tab. Click the Add button. You will need an Access ID and Access Password to add an additional student to your account.

HOW DO I SEE ASSIGNMENTS?

From Grades and Attendance, click on the grade for the course and grading period.

WHY AM I NOT SEEING ATTENDANCE INFORMATION FOR MY MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT?

Attendance information is only available for elementary school students.

WHY SHOULD I USE THE WEB PORTAL INSTEAD OF THE APP?

The PowerSchool app is a lite version of the portal and not all information is available. For access to the full portal on your phone, you may wish to add https://powerschool.ccs.k12.in.us/public/ to your home screen or bookmark this website in your phone's browser. Follow these instructions for Android or iOS .

Error message after logging in via the web

After logging in, an error message appears that states, "An error was detected contacting the server. Please contact customer support if this continues to occur." Once the error message is dismissed, the user is taken back to the login page.

Congratulations Principal Jen Halter!

Principal Halter is in her sixth year of principalship at Green Cove Springs Junior High. Previous to her role as Principal, she served as the assistant and vice-principal at Green Cove Springs Junior High where she helped lead the school from a ā€œCā€ to an ā€œAā€ school grade, which has continued to be maintained under her leadership.
