The Village provides support, guidance and encouragement for students of African ancestry as they pursue excellence in their Summit experience. Members meet periodically, exchange ideas, nurture community and promote The Summit within the greater Cincinnati area. The group gets its name from the African proverb “it takes a village to raise a child.” Get Involved.
What is an admission parent ambassador?
Admission Parent Ambassadors work with the Admission Office to help recruit new families to The Summit. Ambassadors speak on panels during visitation days, lead tours, make phone calls, and help with Parent Preview Days, Montessori Interviews, Campus Day, New Family Welcome Receptions and Open Houses. The Summit Parents Association (SPA) promotes a strong, integrated and diverse community of parents, faculty, staff and students to enhance the education of our children. Working in concert with the school, the SPA seeks to foster a warm, welcoming and inclusive community for all Summit families.
