When was the CBA founded?
Early in 1958 , a group of devoted laymen realized the need for an all-boys Catholic high school in Monmouth County. With the approval of Bishop George W. Ahr, they initiated a drive to raise funds for the purchase of Whitney Greentree Stables in Lincroft. The Brothers of the Christian Schools agreed to staff the school and finance its construction, and the rest is history. Today, CBA is a two-time winner of the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence with over 11,000 proud alumni.

Entrance Exam Requirements
For Incoming 9th Grade Students: We will hold two Entrance Exams at CBA this fall. Registration will be available online in September and you may select the date which works best for your son.
What is the CBA?
CBA offers a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum that includes honors courses, Advanced Placement and College in the High School. Our athletic teams compete in the Suburban Council Athletic Conference as a Class AA member of Section 2 of the NYS Public High School Athletic Association.
