What is the PowerSchool Parent/student portal?

The PowerSchool Parent/Student Portals give parents and students access to real-time information including attendance, grades and assignments. In CHCCS, this option is available to all Middle and High School parents and students. We plan to launch the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal for Elementary families during the 2021-22 school year.

What is the letter that a child's school will provide you with?

Once your child's school has verified your forms, they will provide you with a welcome letter with a link to a Quick Guide. This letter will include the access code and password to create an account within the Parent Portal.

What is PowerSchool connected to?

With PowerSchool, everyone stays connected: Students stay on top of assignments, parents are able to participate in their child's progress, and teachers can instantly share information from their gradebook with parents and students.

What are the requirements for a building permit?

Building permits reviewed by the Inspections Division range from large to small. The following items may be required depending upon the kind of permit being sought: 1 Site plan (s) showing detailing the proposed changes to the property; 2 Contractor names, addresses, and state license numbers for the particular trade or general contractor; 3 Information pertaining to well & septic permits, if needed, from Orange County Environmental Health; 4 Necessary documentation for related projects such as load calculations for Mechanical renovations or change-outs. 5 Sealed Architectural and/or Engineering Plans as needed; 6 For Commercial Permits, as needed: Appendix B from Building Code, Facilities Calculations, Water System Calculations. 7 Relevant permit fees and forms as required by Inspections or Zoning; these can be found at the link below:
