Licensed staff have extensive training including early childhood development coursework. Our programs are in person and on the elementary school campuses.

Engaging, Experienced Team

Every Kids Care site has an experienced, licensed team managed by an onsite coordinator. Team members are chosen for their experience and passion for working with students. Kids Care teachers must have college course units in Education and/or Recreation.

Kids Care is the only before-and-after school program in Carlsbad that gives 100% of its proceeds back to the Carlsbad Unified School District for programs in music, STEAM, and educational innovation that benefits every student from kindergarten through graduation.

Safety is a Priority!

The procedures outlined comply with the Center for Disease Control guidelines for the State of California and are aligned with the Carlsbad Unified School District. We will continually monitor guidelines, update these procedures, and inform you of any changes.

STEAM & Outdoor Activities!

Our after-school program offers academic support in line with your student’s in-person learning schedule. Once the school day is done, students engage in outdoor play, STEAM activities, and enriching experiences.
