Why camp Pocono trails for young adults?

Our young adult program is different than “boot camps” or “fat camps” for health and fitness. While many campers come to Camp Pocono Trails to lose weight, others come to build strength, get fit, and/or work on self-esteem issues.

What is CPT camp Pocono trails?

Camp Pocono Trails (CPT) is proud to be on our 20+ year of camp. Each week, campers will learn a different strategy to enable them to return to their daily life better prepared to tackle the obstacles in school and home.

Can camp Pocono trails help you lose weight?

If other weight loss or tech overuse strategies have not worked in the past, give Camp Pocono Trails (CPT) a try. It's through relationships that people change, and no one does relationships and fun better than CPT. CPT gets campers in the best physical and mental shape of their lives.

Why do people come to Camp Pocono Trails?

While many campers come to Camp Pocono Trails to lose weight, others come to build strength, get fit, and/or work on self-esteem issues. Additionally, with our new Technology Track, some young adults come to Camp Pocono Trails to learn how to live with the distractions of smartphones, computers, and endless hours of screen activity.

Why is a positive setting important for campers?

One of the big advantages of this program is that our Young Adults will be working towards their goals with other campers their own age so they can form a strong support system for when they return home. Young adults are grouped together at camp and interact socially with each-other.

How do campers support each other?

Today, campers can support each-other by phone or online after camp is over. Campers can participate in step count contests or check in with their friends they made at camp over the holidays to ensure they stay on track.

What is the food program for young adults?

The food program for Young Adults is designed specifically for their age group. They will meet with our nutrition team throughout their camp stay to set goals, meal plan and tailor a program that will allow them to continue their healthy lifestyle when they return home from camp.

Looking for a video game addiction camp? At Camp Pocono Trails, campers learn how to live with technology. We teach campers they have hidden skills and talents- skills they have not tapped into because they have been too busy tapping on their phones!

If your child is spending way too much time on their digital device- whether that’s with a cell phone addiction or computer addiction, we can help.

Video Game Addiction Support

No matter what your child overuses, whether that is video games, smartphones, computers or tablets, we will provide that support they need to develop insight and create a plan for success.

Accreditation Matters

We are fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). It is recommended you avoid any camp that has failed to meet the ACA standards for accreditation. Further, our program is proven to be effective.

Next Steps

Please be aware that we are selective with who we admit for camp. Because we are a camp focused on positivity, we will not accept any camper who would be disruptive to our program. It’s okay if your child is somewhat resistant, or if they would rather stay at home. Your child just needs to be willing to give it a try.
