Easy Steps to Follow

Create a free Brightwheel account. When you receive an invitation via email or text, please create a free parent account using either the web or mobile app. Make sure to use the same email address or cell phone number that the invitation was sent to. Here is a quick video overview.

Parent Portal

We recently started using Brightwheel, a tool for classroom management, communication, photos, videos, online bill pay, and much more. Brightwheel is the industry leader in early education, proven to save time for staff, allowing for measurably more time with students, while also delivering a much better experience for parents.

At Spark STEAM Academy, we understand the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students and staff members. The Health Screen option at check-in was designed to help schools both meet new regulations due to COVID-19 and help to provide concrete measures to maintain a healthy space for the communities you serve.

Parent Photo Uploads

Student contacts that have been added as a Parent contact type may have the ability to add a photo of a student to the student’s feed. This allows the school and other student contacts to see and like the image. If this feature is not available, the school has not enabled it. Reach out to the school administrator to ask about this option.
