What happens to children who apply after open enrollment closes?

Children who apply after Open Enrollment closes are processed in the order their applications are received and are placed on the appropriate list - accepted or waiting list.

How does the NHA Parent Portal work?

The NHA Parent Portal allows parents and guardians to access their child's information online through their computer or smart phone. Parents can view student grades, fill out school forms, contact school staff, check attendance record, view the school calendar, make payments for school lunch, and view your notifications or account settings. What to expect when you are accepted to a school?

If accepted, you will receive an acceptance package with important registration forms. A proof of residency must also be submitted to complete registration. Parents/Guardians must submit to the school all of the following items by the date specified in the letter, otherwise you child may be remove from the Accepted list:

Is open enrollment equal to lottery?

All applications that we receive during Open Enrollment are considered equal. During the lottery, these applications are randomly drawn for available seats. After Open Enrollment, however, applications are placed based on the date and time in which they are received. Your chances of getting a seat are greater by applying during Open Enrollment.

Do we accept children who applied during open enrollment?

If more seats are available than applicants, we accept all eligible children who applied during Open Enrollment.

Do open enrollment applications get considered?

We want every child to have an equal opportunity to attend our school. All applications received during Open Enrollment will be given equal consideration after the closing date through a lottery. See the Terms and Conditions page for specific dates of Open Enrollment.

Breakfast and Lunch

We offer healthy, balanced breakfast and lunch to all students. Meals are provided at no cost through the Community Eligibility Provision​ (CEP).

After School Care

We currently offer on-site after school care through the At 3 Enrichment Program.

Transportation

Busing may be available to students who live in the school district. Otherwise, parents are expected to provide the means for children to get to and from our school.

Dress Code

We have a dress code designed to reduce distractions so children can focus on academic success. This dress code is flexible and cost effective.
