What is the BCSD portal?

BCSD provides students and parents access to information about attendance, achievement and academic progress through a portal. Parents and students must use the unique web address below. Online Registration is currently off.

The Parent option should have a black dot in the circle. If not, click on the circle next to Parent to insert the black dot. Type in your email address in the Email Address and Verify Email Address boxes. Type in a password that you will use each time you log in to the Parent Portal.

What is the parent module for Genesis?

We are happy to announce the Parent Module for Genesis, the online student information system, is now available to all parents. This web-based system will enable you to access your student’s grades, attendance, and other important information from any computer with an Internet connection. To register, send an email to piscatawaydata@pway.org.

Thankfulness

Ms. Strach's fifth graders reflected on reasons to be grateful in order to contribute to Blasdell's Tree of Gratitude. The tree was created by art teacher Ms. Juron and organized by Character Ed leaders Ms. McGovern, Mrs. Rensel and Mrs. Kraatz.

Food Drive

Student Government and Mrs. Armstrong packaged six boxes of non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Union Presbyterian Church’s Soup and Food Kitchen.

Veterans Day

Mrs. Ebeling’s Kindergarten class at Blasdell Elementary learned all about Veterans Day and why we thank all those who served. The students wrote thank you cards to veterans and made poppy flowers to remember all those who have fought for us.

Book Fair

Blasdell's PTA sponsored the Fall Book Fair Event this week and provided funds for classrooms and the library to receive brand new books.

3D Maps of New York

Mrs. Seifert's fourth graders created salt maps of NYS. Using salt dough, they were able to make the topography 3D!

Dribbling in P.E. Class

Mr. Ciccarelli teaches Ms. Watson's first grade class to dribble a soccer ball!
