How to prepare for BCS registration?

In preparation for registration, please take a few moments to read the BCS Student Code of Conduct and discuss the policies with your child (ren), review the registration process, gather required registration documentation and create an email if you do not have one.

When will BCS transfer schools be notified?

The transfer process is available within the registration system until June 30, 2021. Parents will be notified by school by July 16, 2021. If not approved, students will need to report to their zoned school. If you need any assistance to register a BCS student, please contact your child's school.

Do parents get an email from BCS?

Parents/Guardians of students who attended a school in BCS last year will receive a separate PowerSchool email for each student with an activation code and instructions for completing registration. If you do not receive an email, please contact your zoned school to update your email address. Where do students fill the bus?

Students will fill the bus from back to front when entering. Students will exit from front to back. The first seat behind the driver will remain empty.

What is universal social and emotional learning?

A universal social and emotional learning curriculum will be implemented daily to provide all students with direct instruction to support their social and emotional well-being.

Do students in remote learning have access to their teachers?

Students in advanced placement courses in remote learning will have access to their teachers just as in-person students. Teachers will also have virtual office hours and there may be some support through tutoring..

Is BCS a blended school?

Yes. All students will be taught by the teacher Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (while BCS is in the Blended Model).

How to see my child's progress report?

To see your/your child's report cards and progress reports, please follow these steps: 1. Login to Campus Portal. 2. Click More at the bottom of the list on the left-hand side. 3. Under Quick Links, select Academic Progress . (Academic Progress will display in a new tab.) 4.

Is Campus Portal updated?

Campus Portal is updated in real-time. You can see information as soon as it is posted by a teacher or staff member.

Is my Office 365 username the same as my student account?

Student: Your username and password is the same as your Office 365 account.
