What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal allows parents to check on their student's academic progress and verify household information throughout the year. Together, the staff and parents can work to ensure every student's success.

How do I use parental connection?

Parent Connection allows you to navigate your child’s record. Inside you’ll see your child (ren)’s name and after clicking on each child you’ll see their grade book, attendance, food service balance and purchases as well as their emergency contacts, among others.

How do I update the contact information on Parent Portal?

Go to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to download. Parents have the ability to log into their Parent Portal account and click the Year Round Update link to review and make changes to their contact information. If you don’t already have a ParentPortal account you will have to create one.

How do I return a user to the parent portal?

Returning Users to the Parent Portal must have their username and password. If you do not remember your username or password, please email us at parentportal@farmingdaleschools.org with your request using the same email address used to register for the account.

Powerschool Parent Portal Overview

All parents have access to Parent Portal to view your child’s attendance history, schedule, grades, manage notifications, and allow you to edit directory information such as email addresses.

Adding Additional Students in Parent Portal

It is imperative that your child's school has the most up-to-date information regarding your contact information and information pertaining to your child. Please ensure that you complete the returning student forms within the Parent Portal.

PowerSchool Parent Portal App

PowerSchool has an app available for download to your mobile device. The app gives quick access to grades, attendance, etc.

Parent Portal Year Round Update Instructions

Parents have the ability to log into their Parent Portal account and click the Year Round Update link to review and make changes to their contact information. Where is the CMU block in Artondale?

Although it is hard to see from the air, the CMU block for the gym and music area is almost to roof height – these are the two square areas closest to the original Artondale. The commons area is between the gym and music area.

What happens after the new school is opened?

After the new school is opened, the existing school will be demolished and the new playfield will be constructed.
