Proposed 2022-2023 Academic Calendar
The Board of Directors of the Anamosa Community School District, will conduct a Public Hearing on February 21, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room located at 200 S. Garnavillo St., Anamosa, for the purpose of presenting the proposed 2022-2023 Academic Calendar.
PRESCHOOL SIGN UP for 2022-2023
Please complete the preschool sign up for Preschool at Strawberry Hill for the 2022-2023 school year. You will also need to formally REGISTER your child online during the district’s registration in July/August. Your child must be 4 on or before September 15, 2022 to attend Preschool. This form needs to be completed only ONCE.
The Fine Arts Host 1st Annual Mattress Fundraiser!
ANAMOSA, IA – If you are looking to replace a bed in your home, now is the time. Anamosa Fine Arts are excited to announce they will be hosting their 1st Annual one-day Mattress Fundraiser on Sunday, March 6th, from 10am-5pm. For one day only, the High School will be transformed into a mattress showroom.
School Counselor of the Year (Elementary) – Greta Lundsgaard-Vaughn
Greta Lundsgaard-Vaughn is the School Counselor at Strawberry Hill Elementary. Greta has been a school counselor for over 20 years and has been a long time member of the Iowa School Counselor Association.
District Health Guidance for the 2021-2022 School Year
This guidance is intended as a starting point for the school year. The Anamosa Community School Board discussed this guidance and the attached school exposure letter and has approved these recommendations for the start of the school year.
