Albany Avenue is the home of achievers, ready and eager to learn! Boundaries: East side of Strongs Avenue from W. Hoffman North to Straight Path Southeast side of Straight Path from Sunrise Hwy to 53rd St.. South side of 53rd St. from Straight Path to Wellwood Avenue.
What is Albany Avenue doing to promote literacy?
One of our most important goals at Albany Avenue is to embrace a true love of reading and writing. As such, students are involved in a variety of literacy-based activities, including an emphasis on independent reading, guided reading and writing, shared reading and read-alouds.
