The ACCHS campus is a block from Oakland’s City Center and mere steps away from the 19th Street BART station. Public transit options are plenty with easy access to BART heavy rail, bus lines, and bicycle routes. There are spots to lock up your bike, including secure indoor bike lockers.

ACCHS’s allocation was determined by the U.S. Department of Education based on the number FA students (in need) enrolled on campus (70% of the weight) and the overall enrollment (30% of the weight). Given the. weighting, Congress clearly intends the funds to go to students with the most financial need.

How long does it take for ACCHS to send out FAFSA?

About four weeks after the student mails the FAFSA (about one week if filed online), the student will receive a document called the Student Aid Report, and ACCHS will receive the electronic copy of the FAFSA. ACCHS will notify the student to submit verification documents if necessary.

Internat is ACCHS's link to the beauty and wonder of foreign countries. Their annual trip to New York City is the highlight of this club. International Language Week is produced by Internat and give's Central Catholic students a taste of foreign cultures.

What time does the Sacred Heart program run?

The program runs from 2:00 - 3:00pm, twice a month. Our ACCHS students feel like they get so much out of their friendships with the Sacred Heart children.

What is chess club?

Chess Club is open to all students who possess an interest in this intellectual game. Informal practice take place after school to have fun and learn in a non-competitive environment. All are welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the game of chess. The Chess Team is a competitive group involved in inter-scholastic competitions throughout the Valley.
