What is Academy charter school?

Academy Charter School is a Kindergarten through 8th grade charter school. We are a publicly funded school founded by a parent group in 1993. The building we are currently in was first opened for students in 2001. Our school offers unique educational opportunities through our Core Knowledge Curriculum, our core virtues, and rigorous academics.

How do I create a PowerSchool Parent Portal?

The parent portal allows parents to keep track of student progress in school. Open the internet browser on your computer. Go to PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click on Create Account. Enter your desired username and password.

How can parents/guardians access student current grades and attendance?

The administration and staff at A.C.E. Academy are excited to announce that parents/guardians can access student current grades and attendance via the internet in our PowerSchool Parent Portal. All parents will receive a copy of login information for the PowerSchool’s parent portal.

What are the report card dates for PowerSchool?

Report Card dates are: November 3, 2017; January 26, 2018; March 29, 2018; and June 8, 2018. When parents log in to the parent portal of PowerSchool to check student's progress, parents will see a number (4,3,2,1) with a percentage grade beside it.

When are report cards sent home?

Report Cards will be sent home at the end of each 9 weeks. This is a means of informing parents/ guardians of the student’s progress, or lack of progress, in each subject. Report Card dates are: November 3, 2017; January 26, 2018; March 29, 2018; and June 8, 2018.

How to keep student ID and password secure?

Enter your student's name. Type your confidential ID and password exactly as they are printed below (both are case sensitive). You and your child have separate passwords. It is advisable that you keep your username and password secure and not share it with anyone else. Login using the username and password you created.

Can I track my child's academic progress?

Either you or your child may track academic progress from any location that has internet access. If you do not have internet access, the public library has computers open to access your child's records. Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information.
